Who we are

A church for people who've been burned by church — and people who haven't.

Table of Hope Metropolitan Community Church is a progressive Christian community in Wichita, Kansas, affiliated with the worldwide Metropolitan Community Church denomination. We affirm the dignity and worth of every person created in the image of God.

We welcome into full participation persons of every race, language, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental ability, economic or marital status, and faith background.

Our Vision

The vision of our faith community is that we will become so infused with the love of God in all our relationships that we will communicate to our world the truth that “God Loves You . . . Period.”

What we believe

Five things we hold to.

  • Every person has sacred, inherent worth.
  • The Bible is meant to be engaged thoughtfully, not weaponized.
  • Faith grows through questions.
  • God is still at work in the world — and in us.
  • You don't have to believe everything to belong.
